Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Leon Whiteside can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Helen Turner
Condolence: It was such a shock when I heard about Leon. He was my mentor in construction and taught me a lot. I will really miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Condolence: I lived a few doors from Leon growing up. Leon was two years ahead of me at Roosevelt and a big brother in some ways. He got me some of my first jobs mixing drywall mud and parking cars at the Seattle Center. Leon had a good work ethic and saw the integrity in people, which was beneficial for growing boys. Though the years we bumped into one another but, drifted apart, which I regret. God Bless Leon and his family.

Condolence: Leon was a strong supporter of his high school class, participating in many reunion planning events and offering continued support to our gatherings. We will miss his enthusiasm and bold support. He leaves behind many friends who enjoyed being in his company.

Condolence: We will miss you Leon. Thank you for being an amazing grandpa to me and great grandpa to our boys. We will miss you leading our Christmas carols while we sing for our supper and crabbing in the summer. We will continue to carry on all your amazing traditions! Xo
