I lived a few doors from Leon growing up. Leon was two years ahead of me at Roosevelt and a big brother in some ways. He got me some of my first jobs mixing drywall mud and parking cars at the Seattle Center. Leon had a good work ethic and saw the integrity in people, which was beneficial for growing boys. Though the years we bumped into one another but, drifted apart, which I regret. God Bless Leon and his family.
